Hi to all our wonderful friends and supporters.
We have had a few very eventful months.
A new baby was born, congratulations to Tash and Family who are very busy right now.
Smartie Pants Nappies is also undergoing some changes, the first of which is a new name.
After twelve months selling our gorgeous Smartie Pants Nappies we decided to try our hand at eBay. On our first attempt we were kicked off by Cheeky Butts nappies. Why? Cheeky Butts had just released a new nappy which they called Smarty Pants. They claimed we were breaching their trademark. To cut a long story short there was no registered trademark on the name Smarty Pants by Cheeky Butts ( Hemp Honey, Pty Ltd). The claims were completely false. However when we did some more searching on Cheeky Butts, we discovered we were dealing with a person who has a very blemished record in the nappy selling business for many previous unethical business dealings.
We in no way wish to be accidentally associated with a person who conducts her business in a manner which goes against our own moral standing. We would hate for our Smartie Pants to be mistaken for the Smarty Pants sold by Cheeky Butts, and all that this name symbolises.
Therefore we have decided to change our name, to protect all that we have worked so hard for.

As much as it sucks to have to channge you name, I think you are doing the right thing!! I saw some of your nappies available 2nd had and googled for more info. I saw that 'smarty pants' was linked with 'cheeky butts' and was about to close the screen until I came upon this post!
I refuse to deal with this lady (and I know many other mcn users feel the same)
